AssetGen Connect – The Infrastructure Database
Designed for complex multi-site infrastructures, AssetGen Connect combines asset, connectivity and workflow in one system to enable integrated change management processes. Typically replacing large numbers of spreadsheets and ad hoc databases of varying accuracy, AssetGen Connect covers all the physical infrastructure, making it easier to find and understand dependencies between components and fixed infrastructure.
Combining space, power, cabling, networks, servers, storage, firewalls and other technologies within one system has many advantages. It makes it easy to plan, build, operate and manage the technical infrastructure as there is less duplication of information. Our common infrastructure knowledge base can support multiple needs such as work ticket assessment, scheduling, capacity reporting and resource management – much better than a mix of spreadsheets, emails, diagrams and conversations over mobile telephones.
